CHCS News from Charlie Hamilton, May 2023

Because of the pandemic, it’s been too long since I’ve talked to many people. So here is a short note to catch up. CHCS Consulting continues to focus on supporting nonprofit organizations such as All Aboard Washington and All Aboard Northwest. I hope you will join me in sharing our products and services that can make any nonprofit organization more effective.

Updates to the CHCS Organization Management System Coming Soon

The latest version of Next9, the CHCS organization and membership management system, is in final testing, and will be released very soon.

Among many other improvements, we have completely rewritten the module for managing events. New features include:

  • The ability to create and manage recurring events.
  • Expanded options for multi-day events.
  • Expanded options for tickets, like “early bird” registrations.
  • Simplified event setup.

National Account Executive Positions Available Now

We are very excited about spreading the word on Next9, and, of course, our custom web development services. Please tell your friends and family that CHCS offers a very generous compensation package for National Account Executives who can work remotely from anywhere.

We are looking for experienced National Account Executives. Your responsibilities include procuring leads, closing sales, and building long-term client relationships.

As a National Account Executive, you should use your creativity and thorough knowledge of sales processes to provide innovative ideas for business growth. Communication and team management skills are also essential for this position.

This position is 100% remote, 100% commission-based. You will be an independent contractor fully in control of your schedule.

For more details, see the Jobs section of the CHCS website.

Sponsorship Opportunities

CHCS is proud to sponsor nonprofit organizations and events. Please join us in supporting causes that generate economic, environmental and equity benefits by creating seamless mobility for those with disabilities; those who do not drive; underserved low-income, tribal, and rural communities; and locations where transportation alternatives are limited.

All Aboard Northwest

All Aboard Northwest (AANW) works to build a transportation network that will allow anyone to get from their homes to where they need to go – work, school, medical care, family and friends – even if they don’t use a car. Donations are welcome at https://allaboardnw.org/support/ Please mention that you have been referred by CHCS.

Rail Summit

The 2nd Annual Greater Northwest Passenger Rail Summit will take place in Boise, ID on July 19th and 20th, 2023. We're looking forward to bringing together passenger rail experts and advocates to continue working toward restoring a true national network for passenger rail that includes service to the largely underserved Greater Northwest. Donations and sponsorships welcome through All Aboard Northwest at https://allaboardnw.org/support/

All Aboard Washington

For over forty years, All Aboard Washington (AAWA) has promoted better passenger and freight rail service in the Pacific Northwest. We champion safe, reliable, frequent, competitive, and convenient passenger rail services that meet the needs of all Washingtonians. AAWA is an especially active supporter of intercity passenger rail service and intermodal connections to local transit. Please donate at https://www.aawa.us/support/ and again, mention that you were recommended by CHCS.

Thank You for Your Continued Support!

I look forward to catching up with you soon. Let’s talk!
